DESCRIPTION: pAb IgG fraction purified from rTB CFP-10 antigen converted rabbit immune serum.

PURIFICATION: This pAb IgG was purified by protein A/G affinity chromatography to >95% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE, reduced.

SPECIFICITY: This pAb IgG binds to native and recombinant TB antigen CFP-10 as determined by ELISA and Western ELISA. Useful in capturing CFP-10 specific polyclonal antibodies from human active TB serum in a twin site assay using anti-CFP-10 murine monoclonal antibody (product # 115-20) and rabbit anti-CFP-10 polyclonal antibody-HRP as a detection reagent ( product # 135-20-P).

APPLICATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Recommended dilutions for use are approximate values.  A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications.

This pAb IgG yields titres of greater than 1 : 2000 with 100ng of immobilized rESAT-6(Product# 135-20) under standard ELISA conditions.  ELISA and Western ELISA may be performed at 1-2µg/ml of pAb depending on the nature and the quantity of the immobilized antigen.
